Engaging Activities & Expert Insights for Every Homeowner

Expert-Led Programs & Hands-On Learning
Ideal for homeowners, remodelers, DIYers, and anyone planning a future project.
Homeownership comes with important decisions—from repairs and renovations to long-term planning and maintenance. At the WNC Build & Remodel Expo, our expert-led programs are designed to cut through the noise and provide practical, trustworthy guidance you can actually use.
Sessions are led by local builders, designers, and industry professionals who understand the realities of building and remodeling in Western North Carolina. Topics range from building science and healthy homes to space optimization, materials, technology, and design trends.
All Programs are included with Expo admission.

Pawrade of Homes Raffle
The “Pawrade of Homes” is a workforce development initiative from the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where high school students from Buncombe and Henderson counties design and build doghouses using an identical set of materials provided by 84 Lumber. The finished projects are featured in a raffle, with proceeds supporting local school programs.

Designer Showcase
The Designer Showcase brings together beautifully styled spaces from top designers across Western North Carolina. Sponsored by The Sherwin-Williams, the exhibit highlights creative interior and exterior design through fully styled vignette installations.
Explore fresh ideas, see how color and finishes can transform a space, and connect with talented designers from across the region.

Food Trucks
Take a break and grab a bite from our lineup of local food trucks serving up great food throughout the weekend. Whether you’re stopping for lunch or just need a quick snack, you’ll find plenty of options to keep you fueled while exploring the Expo.

Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue
In 2026, Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue was on-site hosting a dog adoption event. Thank you for stopping by to meet some adoptable pups and learn more about their rescue efforts.
Mr. Moon, mascot of the Asheville Tourists, also made a special appearance on Saturday!
