The Designer Showcase is a curated feature of the WNC Build & Remodel Expo, highlighting creative interior and exterior design through thoughtfully styled vignette installations. This immersive showcase celebrates design talent, inspires attendees, and demonstrates how color, materials, and finishes transform a space.
The Expo attracts homeowners actively planning projects, along with builders, remodelers, and industry professionals from across Western North Carolina.

Why Participate
The Designer Showcase gives designers a high-visibility platform to reach homeowners in the middle of planning real projects — exactly when creative direction matters most. Selected designers receive:
- A dedicated installation space within the Designer Showcase
- Inclusion in Expo marketing and promotional efforts
- Brand association with Sherwin-Williams
- Direct exposure to homeowners and industry professionals
There is no participation fee. Designers are responsible for sourcing and installing their own furnishings, décor, and flooring.
Who Should Apply
The Designer Showcase is open to interior designers, interior merchandisers, design-build professionals, and architects. Space is limited — designers will be selected to ensure a balanced and cohesive showcase experience.
Installation Details
Each selected designer receives:
- A 10′ D × 15′ L footprint
- A three-wall hard wall structure
- Professionally painted wall surfaces in selected Sherwin-Williams colors
Designers are responsible for flooring, furnishings, décor, lighting, styling elements, and coordinating any trade partners. Installations must remain in place for the duration of the Expo.
Color & Finish Direction
The Designer Showcase follows the Sherwin-Williams Colormix® 2026 palette. Selected designers must choose up to three (3) Colormix 2026 colors and ensure at least 60% of wall surfaces feature Sherwin-Williams painted finishes. Wall painting is professionally coordinated by BABRM and Sherwin-Williams. Outside paint is not permitted.
Designers are encouraged to express their aesthetic through furnishings, materials, lighting, and layered finishes while maintaining overall Showcase cohesion.
